Be Part of the Band Instruments Video
How do I get an instrument?
There are a few ways to obtain an instrument:Â
1-Use a personal instrument.
2-Buy or Rent from a local music store.
3-Rent a School Owned Instrument (Fee* & HISD Contract Required).
*Fees for musical instruments are collected under HISD Board Policy FP2 (Regulation).
Band Instrument Fee* for the 25-26 school year is $20 per year, which is due during instrument check out.
Parents are welcome to rent/buy their own personal instruments. Please see Ms. Pohner for recommendations.
*Students failing to obtain a personal or school instrument may be assigned to alternate written assignments or parents may request a schedule change (principal approval required).
