This article has resonated with me. One of my campus goals is to increase Science learning in the early grade level. To increase student exposure in science, science learning need to begin in the early years of formal schooling. By given struggling teachers hands-on experiences to capture student interest in science is critical to increase interest in future science careers. But, first we need to help teachers feel more comfortable teaching science even if they do not possess a strong science background.
