Year 4 had a fantastic memorable trip to the Science Museum this week as part of their science learning on digestion. The highlight of the day was the brilliant It Takes Guts show, where the children discovered even more about the digestive system in a fun, engaging and interactive way. They were fascinated as the presenter walked them through each stage of digestion - from the moment food enters the mouth to the moment it leaves the body! The demonstrations were both informative and entertaining, helping the children visualise exactly what happens inside us.

Throughout the visit, the children also enjoyed exploring the museum’s hands-on exhibits. They were able to interact with different models, track the journey of food through the body and investigate how organs work together to keep us healthy. 

The teachers were incredibly proud of how engaged and enthusiastic the children were all day. A huge thank you to the adults who supported the trip.

This morning, 5H treated us to a powerful and beautifully presented assembly titled A Journey to Freedom. The children explored life in India during the British Raj and the country’s long road to independence, sharing their learning with confidence, clarity, and impressive organisation.

They performed a range of poems and songs, including Freedom’s Coming and One Land, Many Hands—pieces that were not only inspirational but also deeply thought-provoking. Through their storytelling, music, and reflections, 5H helped us understand the importance of peaceful protest and standing up for your rights.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity, teamwork, and commitment they showed. Well done, 5H—what a memorable assembly.

16 of our talented swimmers from Years 3, 4 and 5 took part in a recent gala against Notting Hill and Ealing School and the event went brilliantly. Our pupils showed fantastic determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school.
