Ealing LA's cycle training provider, Cycling Instructor, have organised children's cycle training courses this Easter holiday. See the courses below:
Learn to Ride (LTR) Course
This course is 90 minutes for 2 consecutive days. It's for children that cannot ride a bike and would like to learn how to. For children from Reception and above.
Level 1 Course
This course is 90 minutes for 2 consecutive days. It's for children that can ride a bike, but need more practice before cycling on the road, such as not being able to cycle with one hand (i.e. to signal left or right). For children from Year 3 and above
Level 2 Course:
This course lasts 2 consecutive days and the trainee must attend all days to achieve a Bikeability certificate and badge. For children in School Year 5 and above, that are comfortable riding a bike with one hand. The course is an introduction to cycling on quiet roads. The course syllabus is sequential, therefore, participants must attend the first lesson, in order to continue onto the following lessons.
How to Book: You can view dates and book sessions using the Cycling Instructor booking form

What are your biggest strengths as a parent?
If someone observed you as a parent, what would they admire if they could watch your best moments with your child(ren)? Make a list of all the things you are most proud of- even if they seem small and simple. Also include those not-so-great moments that you have been able to notice and turn around.
Now let's build on those strengths...
Read through your list and give yourself credit and appreciation for all your hard work.
Now think of what it is that helps you be your personal best as a parent: what support could help you be that parent more often and how can you give this support to yourself every day?
Next, notice when you act in a way with your child that makes you feel good about yourself and do a little celebratory dance, or give yourself a high five! Appreciating yourself will help you be your best self more often and will also help you enjoy parenting even more.
Sometimes we could all do with someone to talk to.
If you would like to meet Araminta for a confidential and non-judgemental chat about you, your child, or any other worries, she is available on Thursday 9-10am. You can call/text Araminta on 07368-365723
or email her at araminta@schoolscounsellingpartnership.co.uk
Great work from all Houses for your fantastic effort and determination throughout the Spring Term! It’s been brilliant to see such strong teamwork, support, and house spirit on display. Pitzhanger have surged into the lead by just 18 points, with Osterley hot on their heels—setting up an exciting race for next term! Huge credit as well to Syon and Chiswick for their continued commitment and contribution. Let’s keep working together, supporting one another, and making next term even better.
Best Attendance of the Term!
Congratulations to the following classes who achieved best attendance in the Spring Term
EYFS & KS1: 1H - 96.6%
KS2: 4H - 97.4%
All classes apart from two achieved their target - WELL DONE - let's keep this going through Summer!
We just missed out on our 96% target year to date with 95.88%, however we are sure this can be achieved by end of Summer Term. A fantastic effort from all. Let’s keep up the great work.
Thank you for your continued support in getting your child to school each day.
4H and 1H win top prizes
4H have enjoyed their fun swim session in the pool this week for coming top of the Spring attendance leaderboard in KS2. While the Early Years/Key Stage 1 winning class, 1H, had a fun playtime session with PE & Sports Coach, Mr Lewis.
