You can talk to Full Scale Band and Orchestra about getting a book, or if you prefer to purchase through an online retailer, here are Amazon links for your convenience:
euphonium (baritone)
percussion (needs to be for COMBINED percussion)
You can contact Full Scale Band and Orchestra to get reeds in smaller packs than those linked below:
Beginners: I recommend Rico 2.5 strength. Do not go below 2.5.
Those who have been playing a few months: Ideally, traditional Vandoren 2.5 strength, which is a little stronger than Rico 2.5. Alternatively, LaVoz medium hard (box of 5 or 10) or Mitchell Lurie 3.
Students who have outgrown the above reeds (don’t skip over step 2…it’s like lifting the heaviest weights in a gym without training your muscles for the medium weights first): Ideally, Vandoren 3. Alternatively, LaVoz hard (box of 5 or 10) or Mitchell Lurie 3.5.
Your reeds will last longer if you store them in a reed guard and rotate when you use them (reed 1 on Monday, reed 2 on Tuesday, etc.). Here are some examples of reed guards for 2 reeds or 4 reeds.
