Students must complete a minimum of TWO seals prior to graduation. At least one seal must be a state defined seal (indicated by *).
A student can:
1. Earn a score of proficient or higher on the biology end-of-course exam;
2. Earn a score that is at least equivalent to proficient on appropriate Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams; or
3. Earn a final course grade that is equivalent to a “B” or higher in an appropriate class taken through the College Credit Plus program.
A student can:
1. Earn a score of proficient or higher on both the American history and American government end-ofcourse exams;
2. Earn a score that is at least equivalent to proficient on appropriate Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams; or
3. Earn a final course grade that is equivalent to a “B” or higher in appropriate classes taken through the College Credit Plus program.
Provide evidence that a student has enlisted in a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces; or Participate in an approved JROTC program.
Meet the requirements and criteria established for the readiness seal, including demonstration of work-readiness and professional competencies.
Meet the requirements and criteria, including proficiency requirements on assessments in a world language and English.
Earn remediation-free scores on the ACT or SAT.

Earn a 12-point approved industry-recognized credential or group of credentials totaling 12 points in a single career field.
A student can:
1. Earn a score that is at least equivalent to proficient on an appropriate Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exam;
2. Earn a final course grade that is equivalent to a “B” or higher in an appropriate class taken through the College Credit Plus program;
Earn one of six Honors Diplomas outlined below:
1. Academic Honors Diploma;
2. International Baccalaureate Honors Diploma;
3. Career-Tech Honors Diploma;
4. STEM Honors Diploma;
5. Arts Honors Diploma;
6. Social Science and Civic Engagement Honors Diploma.

Students will be required to complete one of the following:
Enrollment and completion of one semester of the Community Service course at HSAT. Student must follow all course guidelines, complete the entire semester, and have a satisfactory evaluation in order to be eligible for the seal; OR
Completing a minimum of 40 hours (unpaid) of a community service project that has been approved by the School administrator or their designee; and
Completing a minimum 500 word reflection paper or presentation, including a description of the work the student completed, how the project benefits the community, and what the student learned or what skills the student developed by completing the project.
Students will need to provide documentation of completed hours to the School in an agreed upon manner and timeline, such as weekly, monthly, or upon project completion. Hours completed before receiving approval for the project will only count towards earning the Community Service Seal at the School’s discretion. Court appointed hours of community service and hours of community service completed by the student prior to enrolling in the School may be counted towards earning the Community Service Seal at the discretion of the School.
Earn a letter grade “B” or higher in any three- credit hour College Credit Plus course that qualifies for Fine Arts credit; OR
Earn two high school credits in a fine arts concentration area with a grade of B or higher
-After credit is earned, at least one teacher of record will complete a performance evaluation
A student can:
Earn a medal through CYSP (any level); OR
Play TWO full seasons of any sport at HSAT; OR
Show documented 40 hours of participating through an HSAT club or other extra-curricular activity
After participation is complete, students and their teacher advisor will complete a performance evaluation
Credits towards this seal may only be obtained in grades 9-12.
