We Moved!
We have moved offices to 1327 W. Washington Blvd! Thanks for your partnership and patience in this time of transition. While we love our new home, it is a much smaller space.
We will be hosting events at a few different locations throughout the year. Please pay close attention to locations we list for events on invitations and RSVP requests!

Reserve an Activity Kit for you and your Little Sib by Sunday, October 13th
**Activity Kits will need to be picked up at the new Horizons for Youth Offices (1327 W Washington Blvd) on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 between 4-8pm

Mandatory for all 9th Grade Big & Little Sibs
Being organized is about managing your time and workload in an efficient, systematic way. Keeping track of materials, assignments, and schedules is crucial for staying organized and managing time effectively. Self-regulation: Developing self-discipline and self-control can help students avoid procrastination and manage their time more efficiently.

1-on-1 Tracking
All Big Sibs are required to track any 1-on-1 events that they complete with their Little Sib. Any activity that helps to build your connection with your Little Sib is considered a 1-on-1, we've copied a few examples below:
In-person, socially distanced outings: Going on a walk, playing basketball in the park, cooking/baking together
Virtual Connections: Zoom/Facetime calls, virtual cooking competition, Netflix watch party, video gameplay
Please feel free to lump all virtual connections (texts, phone calls, video calls, etc.) that occur across the month together in a single submission
School Events: sports games, science fairs, plays/concerts
Big Sibs are asked to log their 1-on-1 activities using the form below. Make sure to submit your 1-on-1 activities before the last day of the month .
