You don't need a formal title or a huge time commitment to show up for Horizon. From background support behind the scenes to helping out at a single afternoon event, your involvement keeps our school community thriving. Support our Hawks in the way that works best for your family.
No Strings Attached: Give an hour when you can, skip when you can't.

For the safety of our students, any volunteer activity that involves being on campus or in contact with students requires registration with the Central Valley School District (CVSD). You can register online, and your registration is valid for two years.

⭐ First things first: The Central Valley District requires a volunteer background check for anyone helping at school. This must be done bi-annually.
"Do I have to come to all the meetings?" No! You can support the PTO without ever attending a meeting.
"I don't know anyone." Our volunteer interest form helps us connect you with a team or task that has shared goals adn interests.
STEP 1: Complete the District Volunteer Background Check--good for 2 years.
