Get ready for an evening of mystery, music, and memories! The Horizon PTO is proud to present this year’s Spring Dance. It’s time to find the perfect mask and hit the dance floor with your friends.
When: Friday, May 1st
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (doors will open at 6:00 PM for students to queue up for entry)
Where: Horizon Middle School (Lower Gym)
Admission: $5.00 per student
Concessions: Beverage and snack concessions available for purchase, include a NEW Float Bar!

Guarantee Your Pizza: Pre-ordering is the only way to guarantee you’ll have pizza waiting for you. Pizza is $2.00 per slice.
Skip the Line: Check-in is much faster for pre-paid guests.
⚠️ Note on Deadlines: After April 28th, online sales will close. Tickets will be available for $5.00 at the door (cash only), and pizza will be sold onsite only while supplies last.
Our number one goal is to create a FUN and SAFE environment where every student feels welcome and secure. To ensure the evening goes smoothly, we have the following measures in place:
Professional Security: School Resource Officers will be on-site for the duration of the event.
Secured Entry & Exit: We maintain a single point of entry and exit. Once a student enters the dance, they are expected to stay until they are picked up.
Adult Supervision: A dedicated team of adult volunteer chaperones will be stationed throughout the venue to assist students and monitor activity.
To keep everyone safe and supervised, students are required to stay within designated areas (the Lower Gym and adjacent concessions/restrooms).
No "Hall Roaming": Outside of the designated dance and snack zones, school hallways will be off-limits.
We want everyone to have an amazing night! Please remember that while the Masquerade Ball is a party, it is still a school-sponsored event.
Standard Guidelines: Students are held to the same behavioral guidelines and "Code of Conduct" as a regular school day.
Respectful Fun: We expect all guests to be respectful of one another, the volunteers, and the school property.
The Bottom Line: We’ve got the safety side covered so the students can focus on the music, the pizza, and the mystery!
Nope! Save the paper. Once you purchase your ticket online, your student’s name is automatically added to our Official Entry List. When they arrive at the dance, they’ll just head to the "Pre-Paid" line, give their name, and they’re in!
Don't worry, you can still join the party! However, if you miss the pre-purchase window, you will need to:
Wait in the "At-the-Door" line, which is typically longer than the pre-paid line.
Pay with cash. We will not be able to process credit cards or digital payments at the door. Please note: Door sales do not include entry into the prize drawings.
While this is a "Ball," students are welcome to dress up in semi-formal attire or come as they are! The most important "accessory" is your masquerade mask, but that is not required. Have fun. Be creative!
We encourage students to bring their own to show off their style, but we will have a limited supply of basic masks available at the door for $1 for those who need one.
This event is exclusively for current Horizon Middle School students. Non-student will not be permitted.
If you buy your ticket on this site before midnight on April 28th, your name goes into the hat twice! Winners will be announced throughout the night of the dance.
For safety, small clutches or wristlets are allowed, but we ask that students leave large backpacks at home or in their school lockers. Please note, however, students will not have access to their lockers while at the dance.
It’s easy and efficient! Students do not need to bring a receipt or proof of purchase. We will have a dedicated "FAST LANE" at the concessions stand specifically for pre-orders. A master list of all pre-purchased pizza will be at the counter. Your student just needs to provide their name, and our volunteers will hand over the exact number and type of slices they ordered. This gets them out of the main line and back to the dance floor faster!
We will have a limited number of extra slices available for $2.00 (cash) at the event, but they go fast! We highly recommend pre-ordering to ensure you don't miss out.
