Standardized tests are a part of the process, just one part. It's important to be thoughtful about which tests you take and how you prep. Every student's strengths and goals are different, so everyone's testings plans often are too! This doc can help you formulate your plan.
Your written request is required before we can share any documents with colleges. To ensure that the Counseling Department has enough time to gather and submit materials for you, be sure to pass this in to your school counselor 3-4 weeks before your earliest deadline!
This basic questionnaire should be completed and shared with your teacher shortly after you've asked them to write a letter of recommendation. Be sure to give the plenty of time, they write letters on their own time... and thank you notes are always appreciated!
The Parent Brag Sheet is just like the Autobiographical Sketch that Juniors will complete in their seminar - except it's your parents' turn for some homework! Junior parents, please complete and share with your child's counselor before the summer break if possible (although it's still helpful at the start of senior year if you forget!).
