Hopkins Synchonized Swimming is a competitive, interscholastic, high school athletic program for athletes in grades 7-12. We provide athletes the opportunity to represent their school and community, and to grow as young women while competing on an athletic team.
Athletes need the following items: suit, towel, goggles, nosies (nose plugs), and water bottle. Athletes will purchase their own competition suits prior to or during the beginning of the season. Practices and meets are required. Attendance is mandatory - including during spring break and other holidays during the season. Swimming pre-requisite: Ability to swim unaided and to complete rudimentary sets (i.e. 10 x 50 yd @ 1:00). Previous synchronized swimming experience is not required and first time syncronized swimmers are welcomed and encouraged to join!
Don't worry! Please use this website to get familiar with the sport in general, in Minnesota, and at Hopkins High School.
For questions about required swimming ability, practice and meet commitments, equipment needs, costs, hair gelling, parent commitments, and more please see our About and Resources pages, contact the coach, and ask the veteran swimmers and their parents/guardians.
