A spicy pulled chicken sandwich made fresh from a local BBQ joint tastes nothing like “fast food." There’s one local spot that makes not just chicken, but ribs, pork, beef brisket are made fresh every day. People should eat at Saucy’s because it is well organized, local, and reliable.
One reason to eat at Saucy’s is that it’s well organized. Their website is easy to go through and find what you are looking for. Things are always where they are supposed to be.
Another reason to support Saucy's is it’s a local business. You don’t have to drive 30 minutes to get there. You probably won’t have to drive 10. According to their website, “We offer Online Ordering for both pickup and delivery at both locations. Onsite dining is also available at both of our locations.”
A final reason to eat at Saucy's is they are reliable. Saucy's checks to make sure you won't have any problems. There are no complaints about things not being in the bag etc. You can trust the food will be fresh, hot and cooked properly. Their website explains they have won “Southern Living Magazine's choice as the South's Best Butt: twice over!”
You can find Saucy’s at 207 E City Point Rd in Hopewell. Their website is https://www.saucysbbq.com/. For questions, concerns or orders, call them at 804-504-3075. They are open Monday through Saturday from 11 am - 8 pm. Unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays.

Saucy's offers a variety of choices, but my favorite is their pork sandwich added with BBQ sauce. You won’t find BBQ quite like theirs at any other restaurant. Saucy’s deserves your business because it’s a small local food spot with incredible food and great service.
One reason to support Saucy’s is they are locally owned. There’s actually another location in Petersburg, but they are far from being a large corporate chain like CookOut. They support their community with fundraising events, such as their 3 lbs. Bulk BBQ sales to support the James House, which serves domestic abuse victims in Hopewell and Prince George. They also have a program to “donate a meal for medical staff at John Randolf,” according to their website.
People love Saucy’s because the food tastes and looks fantastic. They have a 5-star rating in all categories. I have personally tasted and loved several items: the cheese grits, pork sandwich, lemonade, and ribs. There are many different delicious items you could try.
Another reason I support Saucy’s is they have great service. Their food comes fast so customers don’t have to wait an hour, and it’s fresh! I recently dined there and my server was polite. She brought me a drink quickly, checked on me often, and spoke to me in a professional manner.
Stop into Saucy's, and bring friends with you. You're sure to get a nice full meal of the south’s best BBQ at either of their two locations in Petersburg or Hopewell. Their Hopewell location is found at 207 E. City Point Rd. They also deliver, so you don't have to leave the house. To order online or learn more, check out their website: https://www.saucysbbq.com/.
