Students received a copy of their favorite book they remembered from their childhoods. They evaluated those stories for literary techniques and writing style, then read them to first-grade students at Patrick Copeland Elementary. While reading short stories and non-fiction text selections, students learned new literary devices. They then applied these devices to their own children's stories, which they produced digitally in Google Slides. At the end of the semester, 11th-grade students went back to PC to read the stories they wrote to the same class. You can see their stories below.
