Associate degree - This is the most academically rigorous option and requires a multi-year commitment. College dual enrollment and concurrent courses are available during grades 10-12.
Current 8th grade students who are interested in participating in the RBC Academy are invited to complete the ECS interest form either online (click link below) or on paper. Paper interest forms should be returned to the Middle School counseling office.

Current 9th grade students who are interested in participating in the RBC Academy should complete the application documents (click link below) and return them to the High School counselor.
Steps to follow:
Download the RBC application documents and return to the counseling office (click link below)
Complete the RBC college application
Complete available standardized tests or meet minimum GPA and course benchmarks
Return all of the required documents and complete the RBC college application by April 30th
Current 10th and 11th grade students who have previously been enrolled in the Tyler Early College Academy (TECA) program will transition to the new RBC Academy. Current TECA students will need to complete the RBC Academy documents and the college application. Follow the same steps as listed above.
Rising juniors and seniors who are not currently in the TECA program and are interested in taking college classes can apply for Pathway 2.

Rising 10th and 11th grade students interested in taking career and technical classes should click on the link below to learn how to apply. Deadline for applying to the CTE Academy is April 16th. Contact your high school counselor if you have any questions.
Once a student has completed all of the required steps and submitted all forms by deadline, their application and high school transcript is reviewed. Placement in RBC Academy courses is based on achieving good grades, maintaining a GPA of 3.1, or alternate measures used to assess college readiness as determined by our college partner. Requirements for enrolling in CTE courses are not as rigorous as those required for transfer level courses.
