Skeptical? Not sure what Christianity is all about? Curious to know more?
We meet every Sunday at 10am for tea and coffee, with the worship service beginning at 10.30, lasting usually around one hour.
Hope Church, Leith (previously called Leith Free Church) is making a fresh start, having stopped services over a year ago. We have a small, but passionate team preparing to go again led by Derek Lamont, and supported by his wife, Catriona. Derek has been a minister in the Free Church for over 34 years, and is delighted to be involved in this amazing opportunity.
We believe that the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most significant event in the history of humanity and is vitally relevant to every person living today. The message of His love in reaching out to us, offering us forgiveness, belonging, hope and a great future, is the greatest remedy for every human heart. In Leith, we look forward to sharing His love that has changed our lives, and believe it will change Leith as well.
