At Hope Church Leith, we belive that in response to God's great love and mercy to us, the outworking of our faith involves the giving of our time and gifts in practical service and, as we are able, to support the work of Christ’s Kingdom financially through our material riches (or even poverty like the widow's offering in Luke's Gospel). All gifts, whatever their size, contribute to the building of the Kingdom. Money given to the church is spent in a variety of ways e.g. meeting the church’s running costs, supporting other churches, the church’s wider mission and helping others in need.
There are different ways in which you can give:
An occassional or one off donation or a regular monthly donation.
Giving regularly is the best way, for people who are able to do so, to support the church since it allows the church to see the income it is likely to receive over the year and work out how that should be spent and what is possible.
For any one off donations, please use the link here: Give
For regular donations, please contact alasdair.black@hopechurchleith.org for bank details. If you pay tax, Hope Church Leith can claim Gift Aid of 25% of any donations you give.
