1. Connect with people & help them to take their next steps in their connection with God & church e.g. volunteering. baptisms, life groups.

2. Information counter. Anticipate general enquiries & requests.

3. To distribute welcome packs to first time guests.

4. To ensure sufficient stock of welcome packs.

6. Create a “Welcome Home” experience for every person.

4. Good at answering questions or finding out the answers

5. Able to use a tablet/phone if digital registration is used

6. Enjoys serving behind-the-scenes with a front-facing role

As the first faces people see when they step into church, the Welcoming Team plays a vital role in creating a warm and inviting environment for everyone — from first-time visitors to long-time members.

1. Greet members and newcomers with a smile and warm welcome

2. Distribute Communion or any materials before service 

3. Spot and assist new visitors, helping them feel at ease

4. Connect visitors with the Welcome Desk or leaders

5. Help create a caring and hospitable atmosphere

5. Basic communication skills (multilingual a plus!)
