National Book Club For Kids

This time of COVID-19 means that many of us are social distancing and self-quarantining. But, we can still come together around great books!

If you are a 4th-6th grader, come and join the first ever online National Book Club for Kids.

We will meet on Thursday afternoons on Zoom to talk about a common book, meet and interact with the book's author and talk with other kids about the book. The book club is facilitated by educators from all over the United States.

If you are interested, please have your parent/guardian fill out the sign up form. Each week we will send you a new Zoom Registration link to join our meeting.

Updates

• Breakout sessions will be suspended as we update our procedures. Therefore we are closing the breakout session request form for now.

• We will be taking a week off the week of June 4th.

• June 11th marks our last meeting for now - we will be taking a break. Stay tuned for more info!

Deadlines

• If you are new to our book club, you must sign up by the end of Monday (11:59 PM Pacific Time) in order to attend Thursday's meeting. This deadline is in place for security reasons.

• If you are signed up for our book club, you must register for Thursday's meeting by Tuesday (11:59 PM Pacific Time) in order to attend Thursday's meeting. The registration link will be in the weekly newsletter. (Please note that we cannot turn off Zoom's registration feature, but we will not be able to approve meeting registrations after the deadline. This deadline is in place for security reasons.
