Why do this?

We think reading is important and we think that connecting to others, particularly during this COVID19 outbreak, is important.

We hope that the 4th-6th graders in our book club:

  • Enjoy socialization with other readers

  • Improve their reading comprehension

  • Enjoy meeting and interacting with a famous author

  • Have fun talking about a book and its topics and themes

  • Make text-to-self connections (particularly important during this COVID19 outbreak)
