Use angles and compass points when describing position and direction

Watch this video and work out the bearings of the main points of the compass (answers below).
If you know these off by heart then you have a great start with bearings.
You will need the diagrams in your workbook as you watch the video. Make sure you have a pencil and a protractor.

north - 000°
north east - 045°
east - 090°
south east - 135°
south - 180°
south west - 225°
west - 270°
north west - 315°
bearings extra practice (you will need to print this out to measure with a protractor) and check your answers
