Draw the following shapes in your exercise book. You must use a pencil, ruler and protractor. You can use squared paper.
In the exam, measurements must be accurate to 1mm and angles must be accurate to 2°.
Draw
a square with sides of 4 cm
a quadrilateral
a hexagon - this can be any hexagon. Sides and angles do not need to be equal, unless you are asked for a regular hexagon.
ASPIRE TO: Draw a regular pentagon (only try this if you are ahead of pace)
SHOULD DO: watch the marsmaths video. It is 30 minutes long, but is very thorough.
ASPIRE TO: draw all shapes in both videos
🛑 Knowledge check on Google classroom - you must draw your shapes on paper with a pencil and ruler and ask a volunteer to check your measurements.
