Hi, my name is Mrs. Martinez. I will be your child's math and science teacher. This is my 7th year teaching and I have enjoyed every single moment of it. I am a proud mother of three daughters and one son. My greatest accomplishment thus far has been raising them to follow their dreams in the fields of medicine, science and law. This is one of the main reasons I decided to pursue a career in education. My role as a parent has equipped me with many experiences and avenues that I can not wait to share with your child.

Some of my favorite pastimes are backpacking, traveling and photography. I have had the privilege to visit several countries in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. Among my favorites have been visiting the Dead Sea, Masada, and the Holy Land in Israel. Who can forget cave digging in the outskirts of Jerusalem and floating in the Dead Sea? But the ultimate adventure has been staying in a Bedouin Camp in the middle of the Jordan Desert, drinking tea and exploring the Ancient City of Petra. I still have many more countries on my bucket list, including riding the hot air balloons in Turkey and exploring the incredible icebergs in Patagonia but until then, I am here for you.

Although, last year handed us some challenges, please know that I will do everything in my power to maximize your child's learning. Please take note that I can not do this without your support. Please take advantage of the resources provided to make this transition a positive one.
