Through Garden State Esports, the Hopatcong High School esports Teams will be able to participate and compete in a number of games.

The games that we are able to compete in are: SMITE, League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Fortnite, Knockout City, Chess, Valorant, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Minecraft, and Brawlhalla.

Competitive Games will be played in the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons (see schedule below), with Casuals games available all year!

Registration for the Fall Competitive season is now open! Fortnite, Rocket League, and Smite will be Varsity Eligible Championship seasons!

Interested Students should fill out this survey to sign up for the esports team!

eSports Team members in Middle School and High School are also participating in the NASEF Rube Goldberg Digital Minecraft Contest!

In groups of 2 - 4 students, students are tasked with building a digital Rube Goldberg machine consisting of at least 10 different steps, all ending in putting sprinkles on a cupcake!

Best of all, this year’s Digital Rube Goldberg Machine Contest with Minecraft Education Edition is FREE for all teams! If interested in participating, check with Mr. McKowen.

NASEF Farmcraft 2021 challenges students to build the best farm in Minecraft Education Edition! Apply and adapt agricultural production techniques in different unique environmental biomes following a U.S. Department of State supported science-based event.

Participation is free through NASEF & Garden State Esports, and open to individuals of all ages, especially those in grades 3 - 12.
