Adventures in Esports

This year we will be gamifying our class. What does this mean?

Basically, our class becomes a video game. We won't do assignments, instead students will go on Quests. Quests will help students earn XP and complete levels. Students will unlock Achievements, and earn AP which can then be used in the Item Shop to purchase a number of perks and items. There will be a Leaderboard for students to track their progress.

Students will also join Guilds, which will be their small group for the year. Some quests will be completed as a guild, and guilds can earn their own set of Achievements. Guilds will also compete against each other throughout the semester. Guilds will also have their own Leaderboard.
