Faculty

Dakota Bromley is in his first year as Director of Bands at Spain Park High School. He joins the Pride of the Park following a highly successful tenure as Director of Bands at Jemison High School in Jemison, AL, where he served from 2014-2026. He has also worked as the band director and music teacher at South Lamar School in Millport, AL.

Mr. Bromley holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Montevallo, a Master of Education degree from Auburn University, and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama. He is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy in music education at Auburn University. Mr. Bromley is the 2023 recipient of the Phi Beta Mu, Rho Chapter, Outstanding Young Band Director Award, and is a National Board Certified Teacher.

Mr. Bromley resides in Alabaster with his wife, Rachel, and their three daughters: Addison, Jenna, and Libby.

Richard Adams is in his eighth year as Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Percussion at Spain Park High School and Berry Middle School. The Spain Park High School Percussion Ensemble was selected to perform as a featured ensemble at the 2026 AMEA In-Service Conference.

A graduate of the University of Montevallo, Mr. Adams was previously the director of bands at Oak Grove High School in Oak Grove, AL.

Mr. Adams and his wife, Jessica, reside in Hoover and have two children, Daniel and Charlotte.
