Drew Ellis is beginning his second year as Director of Bands at Spain Park High School, where he directs the Pride of the Park Marching Band, the Chamber Winds, and the Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble. A native of Enterprise, AL, he received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his graduate degree from Troy University. Prior to his appointment at Spain Park, he served as Assistant Director of Bands at Saraland High School for four years and Director of Bands at Samson High School for three years. In addition to his education experience, Mr. Ellis also served as an officer in the Alabama Army National Guard for ten years, with a complete service period of twelve years. During that time, he served in a variety of technical and leadership roles. His culminating duty assignment was Commander of C Battery, 1st Battalion, 117th Field Artillery. He and his wife, Ashley, reside in Sterrett with their daughters, Lily and Morgan, and their shelter pup, Penny.

Richard Adams is in his seventh year as Assistant Director of Bands at Spain Park High School. A graduate of the University of Montevallo, Mr. Adams was previously the director of bands at Oak Grove High School in Oak Grove, AL. At Spain Park, Mr. Adams is head of percussion instruction and directs the Symphonic Band. He and his wife, Jessica, reside in Hoover and have two children, Daniel and Charlotte.
