Dear Deer Valley Families,
Covid-19 has certainly brought about changes in how we are living each day and learning. We have found that this time out of school and at home brings many different feelings for all of us. Some comfortable and some uncomfortable for both children and adults!
In guidance classes, we talk about how all feelings are normal to have. We also discuss the ways that we can manage uncomfortable feelings to help us feel better. We are using this website to provide you and your child with strategies and resources to help during these ever changing times.
We are working and are available via email, so please reach out to either of us if you need support for your children. Please email us if you need assistance with outside referrals for mental health or if you need assistance navigating learning for your child at home. Teachers are your best first "go to" person with academic instruction but if further clarification or assistance is needed, please contact us and we will help in the best way we can.
Also, if you are in need of meals or food during our at home learning days, please let us know.
