Curbside pickup of grab-and-go bagged meals will be available for children 18 and younger at Green Valley Elementary School (3200 Old Columbiana Road) and Rocky Ridge Elementary School (2876 Old Rocky Ridge Road). These meals include breakfast and lunch items.
Social distancing will be observed and meals will be distributed via curbside pickup only.
Other organizations have partnered with Hoover City Schools to identify families in need across Hoover. If you are a Hoover City Schools family and have a specific need for your child(ren), please contact your school's counselor.
Food assistance
If you are in need of food or clothing during our time away from campus please email Alex Henderson, school counselor, at ahenderson@hoover.k12.al.us and I will do my best to get you connected with Hoover Helps. Hoover Helps is volunteer sponsored for Hoover resident assistance. As your school counselor, I will make a request to Hoover Helps and they will do their best to fulfill the need, but cannot make guarantees. This will require sharing your name and address with Hoover Helps in order for the need to be fulfilled.
