Cell Phone Policy

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to inform you about recent legislation known as the FOCUS Act, which was passed by the Alabama Legislature. This new law is designed to support a more focused learning environment for students by limiting distractions from personal electronic devices during the school day.

As a result, cell phone guidelines will be set by our district to ensure compliance with the law. We will share the specific expectations and procedures with you as soon as they are finalized. Our school will follow the district’s guidance to support student learning and maintain a safe, respectful, and distraction-free environment.
