You will use Google Docs to create text documents - a bit like Microsoft Word
Go to your Google Drive. To create a new Google Doc - click the plus sign at the bottom right hand corner.
A window appears choose Google Docs
A document appears - Give your document a meaningful name (this will ensure you can find it easily at a later date).
A document appears for you to start creating. This document is saved automatically. The tool bar looks very much like Microsoft Word and has the same functionality.
This document will be saved in your Google Drive.
