Mr. King's Classorom Policies
- Due Dates
- Mr. King realizes that students are busy and have activities and lives outside of the classroom. A minimum of one week will be provided for students to work on assignments, when it is convenient for them, before due dates.
- All assignments and due dates will be posted on both our schools Sapphire website and Mr. King's Google Classroom Calendar.
- Late Assignments
- Unless otherwise stated in an FCA or Rubric, assignments turned in after the due date will be subject to a one point deduction per school day penalty. A maximum of 5 points will be deducted. Students absent on due dates are not subject to these deductions.
- Extensions
- Due date extensions can be requested by parents. Reasons don't need to be given. I'm a parent too. If your child needs more time, or you'd like more time to work with your child, email me. I trust your judgement. My email address is dking@homercenter.org.
- Re-Submissions
- Assignments may be re-submitted to Mr. King for full credit.
- Re-submitted assignments are subject to my late assignment policy.
- Tests, Quizzes, and Collins Type 2 Assignments may not be re-submitted.
- Marking Period
- The end of the marking period is posted on the Classroom Calendar.
- All assignments and re-submissions must be turned in by the last day of the marking period.
- After this date, all grades will be final.
