Nau mai, haere mai! Welcome to Room 5.

This year, we will journey together as curious thinkers, creative problem-solvers and confident leaders. Through our learning, we will discover how our choices, words and actions can strengthen our own wellbeing, grow our mana, and positively influence the people around us.

Our inquiry learning will guide us to:

• build positive relationships through Whakawhanaungatanga

• become lifelong learners through Ako

• care for ourselves, others and our environment through Kaitiakitanga

• show kindness, empathy and respect through Aroha

Together we will explore how to be responsible digital citizens, use technology to tell meaningful stories, and create powerful messages that inspire positive change in our school and community.

In Room 5, we believe every child has unique strengths to contribute to our waka. By working together, supporting one another and embracing challenges with courage, we will continue to grow as learners and leaders.

Our classroom is a place where everyone belongs, every voice matters, and every learner has the opportunity to shine.
