The ROX Reading program has begun! Please fill in your calendar and return Week 1 as it is due today/tomorrow! I will draw 1 person to win a weekly prize. Late calendars will not be accepted. All calendars need to be turned in every Monday (or Tuesday if you are not here) morning. You will need to complete and return all 4 weeks to get your 2 free tickets to a ROX game this summer! I hope many of you participate as this is a great opportunity!
We will be attending mass this Friday, April 17 for the first time! We will also attend mass on April 24, May 1, May 8 and May 15. Please see below for more specific information.
Please fill out your Application for Admission if your child is starting Kindergarten next school year (this was discussed at Kindergarten Open House). Once we have the applications, we can start planning for next year. If you have any questions on this, please contact myself or the office and so we can better assist you!
Grandparents Day is Friday, May 1. Please see below for more information.
The weather currently looks a bit warmer this week. Please make sure your child has a coat, hat and thin mittens for when the cooler mornings or more windy days. Thank you!

Attending Friday Liturgies
We will be attending mass for the first time on Friday, April 17 and then again on Friday, April 24, May 1, May 8, and May 15. We will sit together as a class in the front of the church. Please dress your child in nice clothes for mass (no sweatpants, shorts, or pants with holes in them). Your child will have time to change clothes after mass if they so choose. Please send a note if they bring different clothes to change in to so we know, and have them come to school dressed in their church clothes. We will be eating breakfast early so if you drop your child off, please do so by 8:05am these mornings if possible. If you have any questions on this, please reach out and ask.
Grandparents Day is Friday, May 1.
Please invite your child's grandparents to attend. The event starts with mass at 9:00am at St. Joseph's church in Pierz. Your child may sit with their grandparent during mass if they so choose. Simply have your child's grandparent come down to the church basement at 8:50am to pick up your child before mass. (Our class will be waiting there.) When mass ends, everyone will walk back over to the school and go into the gym for some refreshments and Bingo fun! Your child may stay with their grandparent during Bingo as well. When Bingo ends, we ask that they return your child to our classroom. Please remind them to make sure that they talk with a teacher so we know when your child is returning to our classroom and back under our care. This will help to ensure the safety of all and for us to know where each individual child is at. Please note, your child may leave for the day with their grandparent if you so choose. We ask that you send a note or email to school that morning, or before, letting us know that they have permission to go home with them after bingo. We will not release any child with their grandparent unless we have parental permission. If you have questions about this event, please ask!
