December 8, 2025
We will be singing and performing at the all school Christmas Program on Wednesday, December 10th at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. We can't wait! See information below.
Pajama Day is Thursday. If your child would like to participate, please have them wear school appropriate pjs (no footies please). We will also be having our all school meal Thursday. We are very excited to eat in the cafeteria with the rest of the school all at the same time!
We will have a tour of the church with Fr. Aaron on Thursday. We are excited to learn more about the special things in God's house.
The cold weather continues this week and it sounds like more snow is in the forecast. Please make sure your child has their snowpants, coat, hat and warm mittens here every day.
There will be an early release on Friday, December 19th. School will let out at 1:00pm. (Your child will not get a nap.) We will send your child home according to their normal Friday dismissal schedule. If you need something different, you will need to send us a note or an email.
Remember with the arrival of snow, your child will leave their snowpants here every day. We will send them home on Friday (or the end of the week) to be laundered and returned for the next week.
Please check your child's folder every day and send it back to school the next morning. Any notes can be placed in the folder or zippered pouch.
The December breakfast, snack and lunch calendars are available for viewing on the "Menus" tab above.

Review
The Christmas Program is a school wide event for grades KR - 6th Grade. All families, friends and grandparents are welcome to attend. The children are asked to dress up and wear nice clothes. We have 2 performances, one during the school day at 1:00pm and one during the evening at 7:00pm. Our class will perform at both times. (If your child does not attend on Wednesdays and it is possible for you to bring them in for the 1:00pm performance, we would love to have them! Simply bring them to our room at 1:00pm. They will stay with us during the program and you can pick them up when it is over.) We will perform towards the middle of the afternoon performance (to allow us to nap) and then at the beginning of the evening performance (to allow for families to leave after we are done, if they so choose). During the afternoon performance, the children will sit together as a class and watch the remainder of the program. They are free to go home afterwards or stay and finish the remainder of school day. During the evening performance, they will arrive at 6:40pm and be dropped off in our classroom. As soon as we are done performing, we will walk them out the back doors of the gym and up the ramp into the hallway. You will follow us out of the gym to meet and pick up your child. Then, you can go back and watch the remainder of the program, or if you would like, you may leave to go home. The program will take between 60-75 minutes, so you can plan accordingly. We would love to have all the children here for both performances if possible. If it is not possible, we completely understand. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

*More pictures on classroom tab*
Please take home your child's gingerbread train after the evening performance of the Christmas Program. Please grab it before you leave. It is very hard to transport home otherwise and they are BEAUTIFUL!
