Hello! Welcome to 5th grade!  My name is Olivia Haney.   This will be my 20th year of teaching and I can't wait.  We are going to have so much fun in 5th grade!  

My degree is in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education.   I have been an Early Intervention, Learning Support, PreK 3 teacher as well as a 1st and third grade teacher.  My philosophy of teaching is that every child can learn.  It is up to the teacher to figure out how to reach each and every student.  Learning should be meaningful and fun.  This means teachers need to have fun, hands-on lessons that appeal to the “whole child”.   At Holy Trinity I have many roles other than 5th grade teacher.  I am part of the Responsive classroom team, chair of the Middle States team, Head of the Catholic Schools week committee, Book Zone moderator, STARE moderator and member of the Marketing Team.
