📘 Kindergarten Homework Information

Students will be given a homework folder at the start of the school year. Homework will be completed weekly. If there are ever any changes to the homework schedule, I will communicate them through Dojo.

Homework Schedule

• Homework will go home on Fridays and should be returned the following Friday.

• The assignments are intended to be completed Monday–Thursday, but the extra time allows flexibility for families.

Inside the Homework Folder You Will Find:

✅ Weekly Practice Sheet
A worksheet labeled Monday–Thursday with a small skill to practice each day.

✅ Math Workbook Pages
Students will complete one or two math workbook pages nightly.

• The workbook may stay at home.

• Please tear out the completed pages and return them in the homework folder each week.

✅ High-Frequency Word Ring
Each week, your child will learn new high-frequency words in class.

• Please review these words nightly using the word ring.

• After practicing, return the word ring to your child’s schoolbag so it comes back to school each day.

✅ Reading Book (after Module 1)
After Module 1 in reading, your child will begin bringing home a book to practice reading. They should continue practicing this book each night until we complete the next module. At that time, I will replace the book with a new one in their homework folder.
