How do you qualify to be in the Honors Math program?

Can you enter Honors Math in Grade 6?

Yes, we have begun to admit students in Grade 6, as long as students meet the Archdiocesan requirements and they are approved by the Archdiocesan Elementary Math Curriculum Committee.

What happens after you have completed Algebra I in Grade 8?

After a full course of Algebra I is completed, the students will

take the standardized Algebra I end-of-course test approved by

the Office of Catholic Education. If they receive a passing

grade, then they will advance to the next course as required by

the high school they will be attending. This only applies to

those students attending an Archdiocese of PA high school.
