Students will learn through whole group, small group, and individual instruction. Groups are flexible and students will be monitored for mastery levels including enrichment, on-grade-level, and needs for academic supports. Math will be learned through manipulatives, games, and text work.
Numbers and Operations- count to 100, name and represent 0-20, compare numbers and place value, 1:1 correspondence when counting, compose and decompose numbers up to 19 with tens and ones, compare quantities
Algebraic Concepts - add and subtract within 10, build and decompose numbers, represent numbers in different ways
Geometry - two- and three-dimensional shapes, analyze and compare shapes, use shapes to represent larger shapes
Measurement, Data, and Probability - describe and compare measurable attributes, length, width, area, capacity
Standards of Mathematical Practices - make sense of problems, persevere in solving them, attend to precision during math work
