South Downs National Park
You will purchase a flight to Heathrow from your 'home airport'- wherever that may be! Once you land, we recommend using the University coaches that you can book in advance that run during "Arrivals Weekend."
Surrounded by South Downs national park, the University of Sussex might be the most naturally beautiful campus on offer for study abroad in the UK! It is also just a short 10-minute bus ride to Brighton city center--known for the famous Brighton Pier. Brighton’s seafront is the ideal place to soak up the sun in the summer, or take bracing walks to clear your head on winter days. Near the waterfront, you’ll find a maze of alleyways crammed with cafés, restaurants, nightclubs, quirky boutiques, and antique shops. Brighton is proud of its ranking as one of the top LGBT+-friendly cities in the UK and one of the most inclusive communities anywhere in Europe.
