Over the course of this
 two-day immersive experience, students
were introduced to U.N. Sustainable Development Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Students met with students from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta to gain regional insight on areas of specific focus on SDG 11 and learned about local initiatives. The experience culminated in a group design project during which students were asked to consider these driving questions:
- How does SDG 11 impact your school and local communities?
- What solutions should we pursue, and how?
Students collaborated with peers at Westminster to create Jamboards with visual representations of the four characteristics of a Sustainable Community: Safe, Inclusive, Resilient, Sustainable as it pertained to their city.
