Grading:
Grades are derived from earned points out of total points. Points generally come from in class assignments, notes and projects. Students are expected to participate in class, complete hand-out assignments and homework. Class is 70% summative/projects and 30% formative/classwork.

Course Description: This course will allow students to explore the basics of computer hardware components and develop computational thinking skills, which will assist students in problem solving through creating games in appropriate computer applications. Students will develop an understanding of game design through the history of video games, user interactions, coding, developer testing, debugging, peer critiquing, user testing, and user feedback. The students will learn and utilize three dimensional design software to create and print an original sprite. The course will utilize 21st-Century learning skills such as collaboration, communication, and teamwork to create solutions.
