Authors write for many different reasons and about many different topics. Authors love to write about their lives and their opinions. They also love to write informational books and fictional stories.
In third grade we write many different ways! Many of our writing skills are learned and practiced through different writing activities that are connected to our reading and literacy unit. We use our writing journal for practicing short writing responses and for drafting beautiful written projects. We hope to expand our writing and check our work for correct grammar. We should be writing full sentences with capital letters and punctuation to form beautiful 3rd grade paragraphs!
