Every Student Succeeds Act

On December 10, 2015, President Obama signed the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) into law. ESSA is the federal legislation that funds and provides the frame work for elementary and secondary education in the United States.

The ESSA is divided into eight titles, each emphasizing a different aspect of strengthening and supporting the educational systems of states and local educational agencies (LEA's).
