Honors Acting 2/3 is a career-related performing arts course that continues the training in performance that students began in the Acting 1 class. Honors Acting 2 will challenge students to expand their communication proficiencies, hone their performance abilities, and develop their collaborative skills. In addition to performing, students in the class will write scripts and learn technical aspects of theatre. The course focuses on real-world projects—ones that allow students to create theatre pieces and plays for performances in other schools, for parents, and for community members. These projects may include performances created and performed for a variety of audiences and in non-traditional settings. In addition, the class would seek collaborative and educational activities with other classes and groups.
