Welcome Students From Homerooms 14 and 21!
I am just thrilled to be your 4th grade teacher this year! Please take a moment to explore our classroom site to learn more about your new teacher and what we will be learning this year. If you are in my homeroom for the 2025-2026 school year, I will be your Literacy and Social Studies teacher. If you are in my switch class I will be teaching you Literacy. I know you will quickly learn all about Indian Hill and love it!! I am so excited to teach you and have fun together this year. I can't wait to meet you on the first day of school!
I look forward to an exciting and productive year with you. It is a pleasure to teach you each day and truly enjoy what I do. This will be my 28th year teaching at Indian Hill which is hard to believe!! I have taught in both 4th and 5th grades, as well as being a regular education and special education teacher. Three years ago, I was awarded NJ Governor's Teacher of the Year Award! I was so grateful and proud to be recognized for all I do in the classroom.
My favorite grade to teach is fourth grade, and my favorite subjects are Literacy and Social Studies. You will soon see how much I love to teach Social Studies!! I went to Boston this summer to learn more about the American Revolution.
My family and I live in Wall Township (Allenwood). My husband and I have a daughter named Grace. She graduated High School in June 2023, and now attends Rider University. We have a Portuguese Water Dog named Paddington, that is almost ten years old. He is named after the book and movie.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, vacationing, going on day trips, and listening to music. I also enjoy reading, walking my dog, and practicing yoga. I hope to use some fun mindfulness practices in the classroom this year! :) I am looking forward to learning all about you this year. Please come ready to share about yourself on the first few days of school.
