Ever wonder how the lights snap on, the perfect sound cue plays, or how the set pieces magically appear? That's the work of the Tech Crew, the team that makes the entire show run from behind the scenes.
A show can't happen without the actors, but it really can't happen without the crew. The Tech Crew is a vital part of our theater program, offering a place for students of all interests to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and grow.
We train students to tackle all sorts of critical positions. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and be part of a team!
Student Stage Manager: The leader who runs the show, calls all the cues, and is the communications hub for the entire production.
Lighting Design & Operation: Learn how to hang, focus, and program lights to create mood and direct the audience's eye.
Sound Design & Operation: Find the perfect sound effects, manage microphones, and run the soundboard.
Run Crew: The backstage "ninjas" who move set pieces, manage props, and help set the stage for every scene.
Prop Design & Management: Create, find, and organize all the objects the actors use on stage.
Costume Design & Coordination: Help design, source, organize, and mend the costumes that bring our characters to life.

Tech Crew is the ultimate team activity. We are also incredibly grateful for our dedicated adult volunteers who work alongside our students, mentoring them and sharing their expertise.
