Examples of Education Internships

Holliston High School Senior Internship Program & High School Senior Internship in Education (HSSIEP)

 The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), along with MassHire has instituted a 'paid internship' for students interning in K-8th grade classrooms starting on January 31, 2022. The program partnered with the Holliston High School Senior Internship Program and students explored education careers by interning as an elective, completing weekly assignments, weekly timesheets, and the completion of the MA Work-Based Learning Plan and a Final Project. These requirements align well with those of the Holliston High School Senior Internship elective and are offered to support students' career development.
