Endorsement Requirements

Global citizens come from all walks of society with a wide variety of interests and skills. This program is designed to be a rigorous and well-rounded experience for motivated students who want to explore these interests, deepen their understandings, and develop and strengthen skills in the globally oriented endeavors of their choosing. While there are no “one size fits all” requirements to become a global citizen, students are expected to be self-directed, and eligibility for endorsement will be determined by their commitment to and the quality of their cumulative work. With this in mind, each student’s portfolio will include a mix of coursework (including service learning action projects), extracurricular activities, and leadership experiences.  For those who would like to earn the more rigorous “GCP Endorsement plus Capstone Project”, they may additionally complete an independent capstone project of their own choosing.
