IT Tech Tips

There will be times when the technology in your classroom won't work just right. The infographic to the left has a few tips to try before calling IT or submitting a ticket.

For Chromebooks - when restarting, try hitting the power and refresh key together. The refresh key is the circular arrow key located above the number 4.

If your Macbook is having trouble connecting to the Apple TV - Try restarting the Macbook, restarting the Apple TV.

When submitting a ticket, please make sure to include the following:

  • Name and device or student's name and device
  • What's wrong with it - try to be specific. If it's a certain program, say what program it is and what it's doing that's not quite normal.
  • What you were doing when the problem occurred and anything you did to try to fix it.
