Founded in 2022 and proudly based in Holden, Missouri, The ScrapHeads are a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team made up of passionate students in grades 7 through 12. We're not just building robots, we're building future innovators.

Each member contributes to our teams success, from engineering and programming to marketing, strategy, driving, and outreach. Whether it's designing parts of the robot or connecting with our community, we’re all about making an impact.

Each competition season, we compete at three local meets in thrilling alliance-based matches. Then it's on to big events like qualifiers and championship tournaments, all for the chance to earn a spot at the World Championship in Houston, Texas.

A Legacy of Excellence!

This past season was extraordinary for the ScrapHeads Robotics Team! At our league tournament, we were named part of the Winning Alliance and earned the 2026 Inspire Award. We then took 1st Place Design Award at the Missouri/Kansas Regional Tournament, qualifying us for the Run For the Robots Premier Event in Lexington, Kentucky — where we brought home 2nd Place Inspire Award on an even bigger stage.

This continues a strong run for our team. In 2025, we were named Kansas City East Finalist Alliance Captain and earned the Inspire Award Winner title, then took 2nd Place Inspire Award at the Missouri/Kansas Championship, securing our spot at the 2025 World Championship in Houston, Texas.

These achievements reflect not only our team's hard work, innovation, and collaboration but also the incredible support of our community and sponsors who help make these opportunities possible.
