Nau mai, haere mai ki Rūma Weka!

Welcome to our Year 1 and 2 classroom site! Just like the giant waka on our classroom wall carrying every single one of our tamariki, we live by the whakataukī: He waka eke noa — we are all in this together.

In Rūma Weka, manaakitanga (kindness and caring) is at the heart of our day. Together, we build strong connections (whanaungatanga), spark wonder through curiosity (ngākau pākiki), and practice presence and thoughtful choices (whakaaro nui).
