Additional Resources

With a few exceptions, Hofstra's Editorial Services Department follows the guidelines of The Associated Press Stylebook, an unparalleled source of information for writers and editors. The stylebook contains entries on the arts, business, the environment, health, people, places, and sports. It also includes information on usage, grammar, capitalization, computer terminology, health and science, social media, sports, food, fashion, and religion. To keep pace with world events, The Associated Press has produced topical guides for writing about race, COVID-19, AI, and, most recently, Israel-Hamas.
